Summer ? What Summer? many of us a re saying. With floods, record rainfall, low temperatures and more than a little weird stuff going on all round, the outlook for 2011 is anything but clear.

Here in Queensland, as the waters recede and we return to more normal conditions, ( read really hot and sweaty), cafe customers are looking for ice cold refreshment, and they need look no further than our new Frappulicious granitas!

Our flavourista queen Una has put together 3 amazing new granita syrups, which are incredibly fast and easy to use, but which also are made with real fruit juices, purees and natural flavours and colours.

Mango, guava and lychee.

Pomegranite and raspberry.

Blood orange, guarana and ginseng.

You just add 150 ml of syrup to a cup of ice and blend, so they take under a minute to blend them up and serve.
